Ksheera dhoomam



“Ksheera” means milk and “dhoomam” means smoke. Ksheera Dhoomam is an ayurvedic treatment procedure in which patient is treated with the dhooma or steam coming from the heated herbal milk through a tube.

It involves inhalation of fume formed from a concotion of milk and medicinal herbs. Erases Facial Paralysis, Dysphagia and Disorders of ear, nose and throat

A fomentation process with medicated cow milk that hels in eliminating facial paralysis disorders and other nervous disorders of  the face and speech disorders, cervical spondylosis, soastic disorders and neuroligical problems.  It is also effective for numbness, headache, allergies, nervous disorder and paralysis.

Procedure

Ayurvedic physician carefully evaluates the prakruti, vikruti and dosha imbalance of the patient before prescribing herbs to be used for ksheera dhooma. Milk is prepared using herbs and heated till steam comes out of it. Steam is directed over the target area through a tube while taking care of skin. The procedure is performed for one to seven days or as advised by the ayurvedic physician.
